Drake // Crew Love [Feat. The Weeknd]

‘Crew Love’ is the first Weeknd collaboration on Drake’s ‘Take Care’, with his other feature, ‘The Ride’ being the only track from the project yet to leak.

Abel really takes over on this one, as the atmospheric song with its pounding synths sounding like something from one of his mixtapes. He also provides most of the vocals on the track, giving it quite a hazy, ethereal feel, before the heavy drums enter upon Drizzy’s arrival.

Celebrating the Ovoxo movement along with his hometown, this song is another one of the album’s finer moments. With a rich, layered production, ‘Crew Love’ embraces all that’s good in music right now, slipping in perfectly between ‘Headlines’ and ‘Take Care’ in the tracklisting.
